Frequently Asked Questions

Everything renters usually ask before their first paddle. Don't see your question here? Send it through the contact form and we'll answer.

Pick a date, time, and how many boards you want on our booking page and pay online. You'll instantly get an email with your kit number(s), a unique lockbox code, and our pickup address in Sedro-Woolley. At the rack, find your numbered kit, enter the code, and grab your gear. The boards are inflatable and fit in your car, so take yours to whichever lake you like: Big Lake and Clear Lake are minutes away. Return everything to the same rack and lock it up by the end of your slot.

Adult kits include an inflatable stand-up paddle board (10'6"), adjustable paddle, ankle leash, and a pump. Kid kits include a kid-size board, adjustable paddle, US Coast Guard–approved life vest, ankle leash, and a pump. Boards are stored inflated during the season, so most renters never need the pump. Choose adult and/or kid boards when you book.

If we cancel rentals for weather (sustained high wind, lightning, or unsafe conditions), we'll email you and fully refund your booking. If you just change your mind, contact us at least 24 hours before your slot and we'll refund or reschedule you.

No. Local lakes like Big Lake and Clear Lake are calm, and stand-up paddle boarding is beginner-friendly. Most first-timers are comfortable within 15 minutes. Keep the leash on, and start on your knees until you find your balance. Kid kits include a life vest. Wear it.

Late returns block the next renter, so slots returned more than 15 minutes late are charged the next rental tier. Normal wear is expected and covered; damage from misuse (dragging over pavement, fin strikes in shallow rocks) may be billed at repair cost. Just treat it like your own and you'll never hear from us.

Yes. The booking page lets you rent several boards in one order, as long as that many are free in your time slot. Each board comes with its own kit and code, all delivered in one email. For parties or events larger than what's bookable online, contact us or call (360) 389-3611.
